The judges during the selection
Universiti Brunei Darussalam through its Student Affairs Section (UBD SAS) and supported by the newly formed Aspiration Club recently (29 January 2011, Saturday) held a selection for its oratory contestant. The selection was held at the UBD multi purpose hall.

Present at the selection process was the UBD SAS officers as well as the members of the Aspiration club who is also the selection committee. During the selection 6 potential debaters registered for the selection process. The contestant was judged by three professional judges from various faculties in UBD.
According to Syahwal Nizam bin Hj.Yani the President of the newly formed Aspiration Club said “This selection is held in order to select the potential candidate to represent UBD for the oratory competition held whether inside or outside the country and at the same time it also a way to promote the UBD Aspiration club which is formed to guide UBD students who are interested in debating”
