Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) through its Student Affairs Section (UBD) recently (14 January 2012, Saturday) held an oratory audition to select its representative to the International Malay Oratory Competition 2012 (PABM 2012) oratory competition which will be held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the upcoming 3 until 15 February 2012 Present to witness the selection was Dr.Hj.Ramlee bin Hj.Tingkong, UBD Dean of Students. The selection was held at the UBD Multi Purpose Hall. This year selection was participated by 6 UBD male and female students of various academic year. They are presenting 10 various topics submitted by PABM which relates to language issue, social as well as current regional and international issues. According to Dr.Hj.Ramlee when interviewed said “This year audition is same as previous edition where they are judged by three invited judges. Most of the students who participated the audition are talented thus making the competition between the participants more tougher”. He also added that the UBD representative will be joined along with other participants from the Brunei higher education institution to form the Brunei team.
